The sales reprisentitives at Trixie are always friendly and ready to help with whatever they can. I love walking in and being recognized like a celebrity. My most recent experience, was calling in about my dream dress, I was given permission to buy it, and seeing as it was the only one, I called in, I told one of the reps my situation, and he put it off to the side. Thanks Trixie for making my night special, I think I looked pretty good.
Trixie, what a breath of fresh air! it is quite interesting that when you come over to the other side of the street (I think some of you might understand what i'm referring too....(okay, i enjoy checking out Mendocino but hey they are everywhere so i'm sure their sale staff gets customer service training all the time ...so i'm quite happy about that. it was because of the poor or lack of service i received from the other clothing boutiques that i stayed away from shopping for any clothing items in the Bloor west village area for over a year now since i moved here until last week when i decided to walk into Trixie. I guess it was a good day for me because i was greeted with a few smiles, (i really don't need much) i was made aware of their current sales of winter merchandise in the back..but i was totally happy to find such funky & hip fashion! I did buy a dress on that day and i just love it!
Hi my name is Nelli, and I've been into Trixie with my babystroller so many times and the girls have been kind enough to hold and take care of my baby while I've shopped(I'm sure there's more of you mothers out there). It was probably a snowy wet day when the other woman went in and they were concerned with the clothes getting damaged. I'm only taking time to write this because I appreciate great service when I shop in boutiques, and the girls in Trixie always go out of their way for me. So to the girls at Trixie keep doing what you're doing because you guys are great.
I used to be a regular shopper at Trixie but I won't be returning after today. I was shopping with my sleeping baby when a sales woman told me that they don't allow strollers in the store and that I could park it in the front! When I told her that I wouldn't leave my baby unattended (reasonable, I think), she said "sorry, I can't let your stroller in", and turned her back to me. So, I was basically kicked out! I realize that it's a small store but I didn't notice it being very crowded at the time. I was quite upset since I was a frequent customer (I have shopped there previously with my stroller). I just thought that all of the moms should know. If you're not going to welcome babies then I don't think you should have a business in Bloor West.
I think trixie has got all the right stuff. I go in there tell the employees what I am looking for and what my wifes size is, and they put together an entire outfit for me. When I get home and I show my wife what I got for her she is extatic and wonders how a straight man could have such a great fashion sense. Regarding colleflowers comment about commision paid employees...you obviously cannot tell as all of Trixies employees are hourly paid!!!Get your facts straight before you open your mouth.
