I shop at many upscale places and am horrified by the statements the sales staff express to their customers. They have no compunction in telling someone they do not deserve to shop there! Incredible! Someone should write a story about this store - especially once seeing all the blogs stemming over 5 years.
a bit higher priced but great service and assortment
I purchased something there a week or so ago and found it to be stale. I returned it a few days later and received the most pleasant service possible. The gladly allowed me to exchange the item even though I did not have the receipt.
I love shopping there; their selection is awesome though the prices a bit higher than the rest of the village
I dropped a bottle of something in the store a while back and the manager made me feel like a criminal. She proceeded to follow me around to make sure I would not knock anything else over.
Just image...had the been kind and understanding, they would have had a customer for life but now, here I am writing a bad review and telling everyone I know not to shop there anymore.
I have always felt that the Bloor Animal Hospital was always trying to promote unnecessary procedures in order to get their sales up. Recently, they call to say my dog was due for two shots- I called back to get a price and was a bit surpised by the cost so I call another vet in the area who gave a quote of about 25% less. When I went to the new vet he asked me why I wanted the shots because he felt they were unnecessary- he had a dog and he does not give his dogs those shots. Well, so you have it..
I recommend going to the Bloor West Animal Hospital across from High Park on the north side; they do not try to sell unnecessary procedures like teeth cleaning (my dogs teeth are fine according to my new vet), unnecessary shots etc.Here's to good, fair and honest business practices.
